If anyone out there is thinking about getting thier home raised with a elevation grant ,or through the hazard mitigation grant program. I have some advice for you. FIRST -Some grant people will tell you need 3 or more estimates. This is not true.

Second- Some people think they go by the lowest price. This is not true.

So find a house lifting person that you trust and you know an do the job. Chek them out with the bureaus Like BBB etc.... Also Check on the internet do searches. You will be surprised how many of these businesses have many complaints and lawsuits and are still taking peoples money. If the company you are working with is ROB's House lifting . Then do searches like Law suits Rob's house lifting. This is a big help; you will be shocked!  Last try to find a company that an do it all.
